Nearby will be waste disposal, sanitary facilities and a purpose-built shower block with washing machines. If all that sounds like the kind of mooring you’d like to keep your boat at then why not drop us a line.
For narrowboat painting, before our on-site workshops are open, we already offer a full consultation opportunity to discuss colours and designs. We have access to facilities that provide the very best in paint finishes achieved in a controlled environment. Sign writing, decals and traditional hand painting methods are used to create a finish to be proud of.
We will also offer a full blacking service including grit blasting where required and either a two-pack epoxy or standard bitumen coatings. Prices will be confirmed once the marina is open.
When it’s complete our workshop will be available for self-hire, subject to availability and will include a jet wash. Bookings for self-hire will be available for a four or seven day period. The full painting service detailed above will also be available on-site when our slipway and workshops are open.
Our skilled designers & craftsmen have been planning, building and fitting out inland waterways craft for many years. The team includes experienced boat builders and designers, engineers, master cabinet makers and joiners. Together our small but hugely experienced team can conceive and bring to life intricate, detailed and skilled projects using the finest natural materials, so whether it’s a new kitchen, bathroom or saloon or a complete re-configuration, we can help.
Whether your canal boat is a historic example or a newer build, we have experience of all engine manufacturers and engineering configurations as well as most heating, electrical and plumbing manufacturers. We have experienced marine engineers that can repair, restore or replace your core equipment to maintain and improve your narrowboat.
Following completion of the marina mooring basins, associated works and connection to the Trent and Mersey Canal, we will have a fully operational slipway and workshop that will be able to hold two narrow-beam vessels up to 72ft in length. The slipway will allow easy removal of boats from our marina on a trailer.
This cost-effective removal method means your boat can come out of the water without the need to organise expensive crane hire and your vessel can sit on a dolly trailer in our dry dock so the entire hull can be examined, blacked, repaired and sonic tested where necessary. To find out how you can hire the slipway and rent a space in our dry dock please drop us a line.
As well as creating Personalised or Bespoke vessels to a clients’ specification, we always have a couple of narrowboats in build to our own specification. We offer these new luxury canal boats for sale ready for you to move onto and enjoy cruising without waiting for a build slot.
We work closely with local marine surveyors and can organise for you to have your boat dry docked in preparation for any inspection. We can also arrange for an independent BSC examination for both leisure and live aboard vessels
When our slipway, workshop & dry dock are complete You will also be able to use our facilities & book your own preferred, independent examiner.
If you’d like details of our currently available survey service then please drop us a line.
