Contract and payment

All our narrowboats are built under a standard contract based on the British Marine Federation wording. Payment is agreed at the start of the build and is normally taken through instalments at key staging points over the build programme for your boat.

A final balance payment falls due once the boat is complete and you have enjoyed your handover day.

Every boat we build is inspected by an independent surveyor. This ensures that all our customers benefit from complete peace of mind for both the build quality and safety or every canal boat that leaves our yard.
